Tracy Daum

Tracy Daum is a Nurse Practitioner at West Virginia University’s School of Medicine. She obtained her Associate Degree in Nursing from Washington Hospital School of Nursing. From there, she went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Waynesburg University. She attained a Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Pittsburgh’s Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Program (AGACNP).

Dr. Daum started her career at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and has an extensive and diverse critical care background, which includes abdominal transplantation, surgical oncology, and internal medicine. Dr. Daum has also served as adjunct faculty for the University of Pittsburgh in teaching and precepting Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner students.

As a member of the Digestive Diseases division of West Virginia University’s School of Medicine, she works with complicated gastroenterology cases that require interventional care.

Dr. Daum also works as a lecturer in the AGACNP program at West Virginia University and participates in various national professional organizations. She has been involved in multiple research endeavors regarding the pancreaticobiliary patient population and has been an invited speaker for numerous other national programs.
