Stacey A. Warner, PhD, CPNP-PC, ACUE, holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA, a Master of Science in Nursing from California State University, Los Angeles, and her Doctor of Philosophy in nursing from Azusa Pacific University in Azusa, CA. Dr. Warner is certified from the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board (PNCB) as a primary care pediatric nurse practitioner (PNP).
Dr. Warner’s doctoral research focused on the relationship between systemic lupus erythematosus and nutrition, which she continues to research along with pediatric care. She has presented posters regionally and nationally, including a presentation that was awarded for content originality and innovation. She plans to focus her continuing research on encouraging nutrition for a healthy life at all ages, with view toward the overall health and wellness of a patient, rather than only the treatment of disease. She has also served as a pediatric content expert reviewer for Barkley’s Curriculum Review for Family Nurse Practitioners.
Dr. Warner is a full-time assistant professor in the undergraduate and graduate programs at the Patricia A. Chin School of Nursing at California State University, Los Angeles, where she previously served as adjunct faculty for 8 years. As a primary care PNP, she has consistently practiced throughout the greater Los Angeles area.
