Jonathan Decker, PhD, APRN, FNP-BC, is an Associate Lecturer at the University of Central Florida College of Nursing in Orlando, Florida. He has been full-time faculty for 10 years, teaching both graduate and undergraduate courses.
Dr. Decker earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1996 and a Master of Science in Nursing in the Family Nurse Practitioner program in 2001 from the University of Florida. He earned a PhD in nursing from the University of Central Florida in 2010.
Dr. Decker is board-certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner and has worked a variety of specialties including gastroenterology, internal medicine, college health, urgent care, and family medicine. He currently works the UCF Student Health Center during the academic year, and works locum tenens during the summers in Alaska Native health clinics.
