Chaka Batley, DNP, FPA-APRN, PMHNP-BC, CPNP-PC, MBA is board-certified as a pediatric primary care nurse practitioner and a psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner. She earned both her Master of Science in Nursing-Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and her Doctor of Nursing Practice degrees from the University of Iowa. In 2019, she completed the Post-Master’s Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Certificate program at the Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing.
Dr. Batley began her career as a nurse practitioner by serving her rural community of Quincy, Illinois as a pediatric nurse practitioner. She chose to pursue additional education in psychiatry and mental health after witnessing her community’s need for access to these services. In February 2020, Dr. Batley joined Clarity Healthcare to pursue a new position that offers support in both pediatric primary care and lifelong psychiatric-mental health. In her practice, she focuses on building relationships with individuals and families to provide integrated care and champion whole-person wellness.
To encourage others to pursue their passion, Dr. Batley volunteers in several leadership roles in her local community, at the state level, and nationally. She is dedicated to being a positive role model for future generations and takes pride in enhancing the profession of nursing through leadership. She is diligent in using her opportunities to inspire others to face adversity, embrace individuality, and discover that anyone can make a difference. Dr. Batley is married to her wonderful husband and has six children and three grandchildren.
