Photography and Video Recording

Portions of Conference events, including but not limited to workshops, pre-conferences, the Welcome Reception, exhibits, general sessions may be photographed and filmed and the resulting photographs or video used by Barkley & Associates, Inc. in promotional materials, including on the company websites, social media channels and advertising collateral. 

Attendees and other Conference participants are giving implied consent to being photographed or filmed and having their images used in promotional materials.

Advanced Procedures Workshop Policy

Due to high demand and the need to reserve seats to maintain small groups, no refunds are allowed once registered for an APW, regardless of the reason. In addition, no refunds will be given to registrants who do not attend their scheduled workshop, regardless of the reason.

Barkley & Associates reserves the right to reassign attendees to a different Advanced Procedures Workshop time, if needed, to ensure optimal group learning and appropriate faculty to student ratios. In this case, attendees will be notified in advance of alternatives.

The fee for transferring any APW to another attendee is $60.

Pre-Conference Policy

Due to high demand, no refunds are allowed once registered for a Pre-Conference, regardless of the reason. In addition, no refunds will be given to registrants who do not attend their scheduled workshop, regardless of the reason.

The fee for transferring any Pre-Conference to another attendee is $60 per Pre-Conference.

Registration Transfer

A transfer fee of $100 will apply for transfers from one person to another for main conference registration. Prices are subject to change without notice.

Post-registration adjustments to registration status will incur an administrative fee of $60 to be applied against any partial refund due from the adjustment.

Cancellation Policy & Fees

All NPAC Conference cancellations must be submitted in writing to Barkley & Associates, Inc. at Barkley@NPcourses.com.

Before October 20, 2023: $150 administrative fee
Between October 20, 2023, and February 20, 2024: $250 administrative fee
After February 20, 2024: No refunds (regardless of reason)

While we do not endorse any particular company, travel insurance is extremely affordable! This is an example of Travel Guard insurance rates for three locations around the country if you purchased NPAC registration at Regular Price, 4 nights in the venue hotel ($268.84/night, including tax), and $500 in airfare (6/14/23):

Force Majeure

In the unlikely event that Barkley & Associates, Inc. has to cancel the conference for reasons beyond their control, including but not limited to acts of God or nature, strikes, war, terrorist acts, hotel labor disputes, disease (e.g., epidemics, pandemics), civil disturbances, travel advisories, or other government restrictions, the liability of Barkley & Associates, Inc. shall be limited to a refund of the attendee’s course registration fee.

Conference Handouts

All attendees will have access to a PDF of the conference manual, including all General Session PowerPoints, in the NPcourses.com customer portal 1 week prior to the conference. Please download the manual prior to arriving at the conference.

For your convenience, you can reserve a printed and bound conference manual for $50. The manual, which will feature all of the PowerPoints for all General Sessions, will be available for pickup at the conference.

Purchase Orders

If your employer or sponsoring organization is paying for Conference Registration, and it is not possible to either use a corporate credit card or make arrangements for reimbursement, a purchase order can be submitted via email to NPAC@NPcourses.com. Complete your registration process as normal and choose the “Purchase Order” option at the end of checkout to receive a detailed registration receipt via email, which can be shared with your employer to support creation of an accurate purchase order.

Barkley & Associates will contact the person listed in the purchase order and send an invoice. Only verified purchase orders from hospitals, medical centers, or healthcare organizations will be honored. The purchase order must be received no later than 10 business days after the date of pending registration. The registration price may only be honored at the time the purchase order is received.
