Q. When will I receive my order?

A. Expect to receive your order within 6-10 business days. Actual time depends on the day, time you place the order and on the method of payment. Mail-in orders will take considerably longer. Please refer to ourshipping information page for more details.

Q. How will my order be shipped?

A. All orders will be shipped via USPS Priority Mail.

Q. What is included in my order?

A. Depending on what you order:

  • CDs only or CDs in conjunction with attending a Live Course: You will get a CD set in one or two hard, protective plastic cases. There will be no handouts, manual or CEUs with either one of these packages.

  • CDs WITH handouts and CEUs: You will get a CD set in one or two hard, protective plastic cases and all the printed material (handouts, manual, etc.), unbound, 3-hole punched for use in a 3-ring binder of your choice.

  • Replacement manual: You will only get the manual, unbound with 3-hole punched for use in a 3-ring binder of your choice.

Q. How often are the materials updated?

A. All materials are updated (if needed) in the beginning of each year. Please keep in mind some information will remain relevant to the certification exams regardless of how "old" it is. Our courses are designed to prepare you for testing and will cover all subjects and topics relevant to your specialty's national certification exam.

Q. Which test (ANCC, AANP, etc.) will be best to take after I complete your Home Study Course?

A. Our courses are suitable and cover material you will find on any National certifying body exam.

Q. Who authored the study manual?

A. Most often than not, the course presenters are the contributing authors of our course study manuals. In addition some outside experts have also written and/or edited the material.

Q. Why is there no guarantee for the Home Study Course?

A. Since we have no control of how each individual studies or if they follow the directions and methods given by our experts we are unable to extend the Live Course Guarantee to the Home Study Course.

Q. I ordered the CDs only package, but now I also want to purchase the handouts. How can I do that?

A. You may purchase the study manual separately, but only if you have already purchased the CDs. Go to our Store home page and select the specialty for which you wish to purchase a study manual. The last option on the list of packages is "Replacement Manual". Please be aware that replacement manual orders are verified and will not be honored if you have not previously purchased a Home Study Course or attended a Live Course.

Q. How do I receive my CEU certificate?

A. After completing the Home Study course, you must fill out the Evaluation form (located at the back of the manual) and mail it to our Mailing Address. You will receive your CEU certificate in the mail within 2 weeks. Please print all information clearly on the Evaluation form, to insure prompt processing.

Q. How many contact hours of CE will I receive for completing the Home Study Course?

A. All contact hours of continuing education are accredited by American Academy of Nurse Practitioners:

  • FNP = 27.0 (including 12.0 hours of Pharmacology)

  • ANP, PNP, ACNP, GNP, CPNP-AC, PMHNP, WHNP = 13.5 (including 5.0 hours of Pharmacology)

Q. What is your return policy?

A. There are absolutely no returns allowed on any Home Study materials. Exchanges will be made for any defective materials after the damaged/defective item is returned to us. (Note: See questions below for exchange details)

Q. I lost my study manual. Can I get a replacement?

A. You may purchase a replacement study manual. Go to ourStore home page and select the specialty for which you wish to purchase a study manual. The last option on the list of packages is "Replacement Manual". Please be aware that replacement manual orders are verified and will not be honored if you have not previously purchased a Home Study Course or attended a Live Course.

Q. I received my order, but the package/CDs were damaged. What should I do?

A. Contact us immediately at npcourses@aol.com. You must be issued a RMA via email, in order to return the damaged items and receive a replacement. RMAs usually take 24 hours to be issued and all instructions on how to exchange the damaged items will be included in the email. The RMA number must be on the box when the damaged items are shipped back to our distribution offices. Any packages without a RMA number written visibly on the box will be refused.

Q. I received my order, but one or more of the CDs are not playing/skipping. What should I do?

A.Contact us immediately at npcourses@aol.com. Indicate the specialty (FNP, PNP, etc.), CD number(s), Track number(s). You must be issued a RMA via email, in order to return the defective CD(s) and receive replacement(s). RMAs usually take 24 hours to be issued and all instructions on how to exchange the defective items will be included in the email. The RMA number must be on the box when the defective item(s) are shipped back to our distribution offices. Any packages without a RMA number written visibly on the box will be refused.

Q. I received my order, but the CDs are randomly skipping from topic to topic. What is wrong?

A. Make sure the "Shuffle" feature is not active on your CD player. If you do not know how to turn that feature off, refer to your CD player manual.
