Psychopharmacology Update

In this talk, the latest drugs for depression, psychosis, anxiety, bipolar affective disorder, and other psychiatric syndromes are examined. Efficacy of many of these agents has recently been improved, or in some cases, questioned. Such issues are examined, keeping in mind the best treatment outcomes for the patient. Additionally, side effects and medication compliance are discussed, as these greatly impact the efficacy of the psychotherapeutic drugs.
