Barkley & Associates exhibited at the 23rd
Annual Conference of the American Psychiatric Nurses Association (APNA)
on October 7-10, 2009 in Charleston, South Carolina. Of the 800+
attendees of the conference, over 200 PMHNPs visited our booth and
took advantage of our Onsite SALE including new CD recordings and
updated, extensive manual of our Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse
Practitioner Certification Review/Clinical Update Home Study Course!
The information about our NEW Online Practice Test Question
Continuing Education Offering for 1.5 CEUs, accredited by the

in Washington, DC. This session addressed Ethnopharmacology:
Implications for Medical-Surgical Nurses and was received with great
interest by more than 800 attendees! |

Dr.
Thomas W. Barkley, Jr.
(see his bio) presented four general sessions at the 24th
National Conference of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP)
on June 20-21, 2009. His sessions included Pharmacotherapy in
Men’s Health: From Inflammation to Dysfunction; Lesions,
Swelling, Pain and Dysfunction: Men’s Health Update; Outpatient and
Inpatient Infectious Disease Update 2009; and Ethnopharmacology:
Race or Pharmacogenomics. The conference, held at the Gaylord
Opryland in Nashville, Tennessee, was attended by over 4,000 nurse
practitioners from throughout the country. |
