Exploring The Top Twenty Drugs

This talk explores the current top 20 prescribed drugs by their categories of use for indications ranging from cardiovascular disease, pain, infection, endocrine disorders, and others. Commonly prescribed drugs are discussed with respect to their mechanism, safety, and special populations for use. A brief discussion of the top 20 street and abused drugs is also included, with surprising correlations between the two groups noted.
