A discussion of common inhibitors and inducers of drug metabolism are illuminated within a framework to improve clinical practice when prescribing drugs among patients of various ethnicities.
Included in this talk is information on:

  • Differentiating  between race, ethnicity and culture in relation to ethnopharmacology.

  • Identifying ethnic/racial differences in response to medications.

  • Strategies to improve clinical practice as a result of heightened awareness of ethnopharmacology.
